Our innovative dashboard is now available as an app to download onto your phone for tracking and monitoring your Simply Extend project on the go! Completely unique to any other home extension specialist, this innovative, fully automated system allows our clients to track and manage several important aspects to their extension project, as well as allowing our in-house operations, customer service team and construction teams to successfully deliver our client’s home extension projects.
Monitor and track a number of key elements to your project including the following:
Gantt chart – your project timeline
The first element of the dashboard app is the Gantt chart – which is dynamic and adjusts to show predicted timescales. We have created our dashboard app to be easy to use and to keep on top of, with easy communication between everyone included in the build. The Gantt chart will monitor the timeline from the design phase with our architectural team through to the completion of the construction phase. If extra work is added, the Gantt chart will be updated to reflect the changes in the predicted end date of a project.
All your key contacts in one place
The dashboard app keeps hold of all those important phone numbers and contacts, so no need to worry if you have forgotten to save your surveyor, architect and contractor’s number. Our dashboard app has every detail you will need throughout the build!
Project plans and documents
One of the key reasons construction projects can breakdown is due to communication issues or mishaps with paperwork. With our dashboard app, you can rest assured that all tenders, contracts, plans and structural calculations as well as any other important documentation will be stored for easy access. All key people involved in your project at Simply Extend will also have access to this information so we can ensure we are working from the correct documents.
Track payments and milestones
When it comes to money and budgeting for your project, it is always important to understand each payment coming out of your account. Our dashboard system will outline all your key milestone payments and will alert you when a payment is due. It will also track which payments have been made already so you can have full transparency on costs.
Variations – additional changes to your project
Throughout the build, you may decide that you would like additional small projects carried out whilst our trades are on site. With our dashboard, you can request a variation with your builder who will then provide you with a cost to do this. You may then either decide to accept or decline the quote. If you do decide to make variations throughout the build, please do remember that this will ultimately change the end date of your project. Logging extra work onto the dashboard app keeps everything in one place and ensures everything is completed and to the correct standard.
Create a detailed snag list
At the end of the project, you will be able to pull together a snag list. Snag lists include small items at the end of your project that need finishing or touching up. There is an area in the dashboard app for you to log and request snagging items to be looked at. Your builder will then work their way through the list and ensure everything is finished to a great standard before finalising the paperwork on your project.
